本課程將教授語言學不同領域的基礎知識，包括一般語言學（語音學、音韻學、詞素學、句法學、語意學和語用學），心理語言學和神經語言學。學生將學習發音的器官和生理機制、使用國際音標來標記語音、學習如何分析一些語言的詞素和句子結構。此外，還會學習大腦和語言間的關係以及相關的研究方法和技術。強力建議參與課程的學生要課前預習和課後複習。上課第一天就會進行分組, 請務必要出席!

This course will provide students with basic knowledge of different linguistics domains, including general linguistics (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics), psycholinguistics, and neurolinguistics. Students will learn the anatomy of speech organs, the mechanism of speech, using IPA symbols to transcribe speech sounds, and how to analyze the morphological and syntactic structures of certain languages in the world. In addition, they will learn the relationship between the brain and language and its relevant research methods and technologies. Preparation before each class and review thereafter is strongly recommended for students who attend this course.
